the Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs were founded by owner Lamar Hunt in 1959 as one of the charter AFL teams then known as the Texans based in Houston. Three years later the team moved to Kansas and became the Chiefs. The team won the AFL championship in 1962 and Super Bowl IV.
