About the Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles began in 1933.  Due to World War II the team merged with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1943 but the pair broke up the next year.  The Eagles have played in one Super Bowl Game, losing to the Raiders in Super Bowl XV. The team plays its home games at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
